Kathleen Farah M.D.
Dr. Kathleen Farah received her medical training at the University of MInnesota—Minneapolis/Duluth Medical School, finishing her medical training in 1982. She was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha—an honorary medical society and received the American Medicak Women's Association for Outstanding Achievement Award. In 1993, she received a Bush Medical Fellowship which allowed her to further study in a wide range of family practice issues, including pediatrics, allergies, immunology, and pediatric intensive care.
Dr. Farah currently practices at the Baldwin Clinic and hospital, in Wisconsin. She has an excellent reputation for her exceptional ability to provide high quality medical management and support of the children and families she serves. Her blend of compassion, medical expertise, and understanding of the complementary health practices has had a positive impact on her practice. Dr. Farah has completed training through the Mind Body Institute in Washington D.C. and has begun to incorporate these practices into the services she provides to her community. She has begun teaching patients a variety of relaxation techniques. Imagery, simple biofeedback, and meditation are a few of these techniques. She has also completed the coursework in Craniosacral therapy. Dr Farah has volunteered as camp physician at Camp Avanti since 1996.
